Where is your panel located?

The location of your panel depends on the Year your home was built. In older homes the panel can be in a variety of places. In newer homes it's probably in your garage. No matter where it is we Recommend the area is easily accessible. You should know where your panel is, and know how to operate it in case of an emergency.

The Panel controls the electricity coming in your home from the utility company. The breakers attached to each circuit regulate the amount of AMPS. If the circuit is overloaded the breaker will trip, this will prevent any electricity flowing into that circuit. Once the issue is resolved, the breaker can be turned back on and, enable the electricity to flow through the circuit again.

Sometimes repairs need to be made immediately, sometimes they can wait a while, and other times it can be a future project to keep in mind. Our Electricians will come to your home, look over you electrical system, and educate you about the safety and condition of your electrical system.
